Privacy Policy

CaardCluub (www.caardcluub.com) is a personal web app for card and table games and for PocketDVR. Contact: caardcluub@gmail.com.

Account information

When you register, we store your name, email address, password hash, game preferences, and scoring history. Email is used only for account login, password reset, and infrequent notices about the service. We do not sell or share your email with third parties for advertising.

PocketDVR and Google Drive

PocketDVR lets you time-shift freely available public live streams onto your own cloud storage (Google Drive or Amazon S3) and play them on your Table device. Recordings are not stored on CaardCluub servers except briefly on the server while a job is capturing, then they are uploaded to your drive and the local copy is deleted.

If you choose Connect Google Drive, CaardCluub uses Google OAuth 2.0 and requests only the Google scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. That scope lets the app create, read, update, and delete files that this app created. It does not grant access to the rest of your Drive.

Google issues a refresh token. We store that token encrypted on our server (AES-256-GCM with a server master key) and use it only to:

• upload PocketDVR recordings to your Drive,
• read those files for playback on your Table,
• delete those files when you trash a recording,
• read Drive storage quota so the My recordings meter can show space used.

You can disconnect by deleting the drive in PocketDVR and by removing CaardCluub under Google Account → Third-party access.

Amazon S3

If you add an S3 drive, access keys you enter are stored encrypted the same way and used only to upload, play, and delete your PocketDVR objects in the bucket you name.

Cookies and session

Login uses a session in your browser (including sessionStorage) so you can rejoin a game. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Google’s data

Google’s use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide PocketDVR Drive features described above, not to train models or to serve ads.
